Delete your Axiome account

You can delete your Axiome account and all associated telemetry, workouts, and personal data at any time. Axiome is developed by Emilian Popescu. This document explains the exact statutory deletion protocol under GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and Google Play / Apple Store user data policies.

§ 01

In the app and data portability export

To initiate automated deletion directly inside the app, navigate to Profile → Delete Account. The client will prompt you to confirm the deletion request.

Data Portability Export Before Deletion: Under GDPR Article 20, you have the statutory right to export your complete telemetry archive before account termination. Tap Download my data in the app to generate a standardized, machine-readable export package (JSON format compliant with RFC 8259 and structured CSV files compliant with RFC 4180). This export contains all 1,600+ gym exercise logs, historical set/rep/weight records, sleep duration and stage metrics, Eisenhower matrix quadrant task histories, and personal journal reflections.

Upon confirming deletion in the app, your authentication token is revoked immediately and sign-in is permanently blocked across all active devices. Your records enter a 30-day graceful revocation window during which you can abort deletion by emailing our support team.

§ 02

By email erasure request

If you cannot access the mobile application, you can submit a statutory erasure request by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject Delete my Axiome account. If you signed in with Google, use that Google address. You do not need to provide a reason.

To protect account integrity against unauthorized erasure, our security team may verify your identity before processing. Once verified, your request is acted on within 30 calendar days in compliance with statutory deadlines under GDPR Article 12(3) and Swiss FADP Article 25. We email you when permanent cryptographic erasure is completed.

§ 03

What gets permanently erased

The deletion protocol permanently purges 100% of the following categories from our operational database hosted with Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany (EU):

  • your account identifiers, email address, profile names, and hashed credentials
  • health and workout telemetry across 1,600+ exercises, including weight, sets, reps, RPE ratings, and muscle recovery heatmaps
  • biometric sleep logs, sleep stage distributions (deep, REM, light), bedtimes, and daily recovery scores
  • Eisenhower matrix quadrant items (Do First, Schedule, Delegate, Eliminate) and daily task logs
  • journal entries, vault notes, reading lists, book excerpts, glossary terms, and compound goals
  • coach conversations, AI insights, and thumbs-up/thumbs-down ratings
  • photographic attachments and custom images stored in our private encrypted Frankfurt storage buckets
  • subscription receipts, AI usage records, and privacy consent logs
  • share links you created, which stop working immediately upon deletion

Nothing is kept afterwards. Encrypted rolling system backups overwrite automatically on an isolated 30-day schedule and are never restored except to recover from a disaster. Third-party calendar events previously synced to your Google Calendar follow Google's own rules and stay in your calendar until you delete them there.

§ 04

Cancel your store subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel Google Play or Apple App Store billing

Third-party app stores manage subscription billing separately from your Axiome account. You must cancel active recurring plans directly in your device store settings to prevent renewal charges.

Google Play cancellation procedure (Android): Open the Google Play Store app → Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner → Tap Payments & subscriptions → Tap Subscriptions → Select Axiome → Tap Cancel subscription → Confirm cancellation.

Apple App Store cancellation procedure (iOS): Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad → Tap your name / Apple ID banner → Tap Subscriptions → Select Axiome → Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) → Confirm cancellation.

Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not instruct Google or Apple to halt billing. You retain Axiome Pro features through the end of your prepaid billing period, after which no further charges will occur.

§ 05

Deleting only some data

You can delete individual workout entries, sleep logs, Eisenhower tasks, journal entries, and images in the app at any time without deleting your entire account. To have something specific removed that the app interface cannot delete, write to [email protected].

§ 06

Statutory rights and supervisory authorities

Axiome's data deletion practices comply with European Union Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR Art. 17), the UK Data Protection Act 2018, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Under these frameworks, you have an unconditioned right to erasure without financial penalty.

If you believe your personal data has not been processed or erased in accordance with applicable statutory law, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with our lead supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) in Romania (dataprotection.ro), or with your local data protection authority (such as the UK ICO or Swiss FDPIC).
